T7 : Houma Sweet Houma

TIF, born in El Hammamet and after living in Lyon then Paris, develops a bilingual rap in French and Arabic that blends sung melodies, rap phrasing and the legacies of raï, chaâbi, gnawa and Andalusian music. First noticed in 2019 with “3iniya,” he has since refined a writing style nourished by exile, the memory of Algiers and a restrained melancholy. In 2021 he launched, together with Adil and Younès Boucif, the Houma Sweet Houma collective, which has become a framework for his projects and collaborations. The EP Houma Sweet Houma was released in 2022. His debut album 1.6 came out in 2023, carried by the tracks “Hinata,” “Amnesia,” “Shadow Boxing” and “S12” with Flenn, and was accompanied by a live session that highlights the more organic dimension of his world. In 2024, TIF presented “Nothing Personal” on A COLORS SHOW, continuing a trajectory at the crossroads of Algerian and French scenes. On stage he alternates singing and rapping, forging a direct link between introspective lyrics and rhythms rooted in his North African influences. Performance scheduled for 22 May 2026 at T7 - Terminal 7, Paris.
