Skip the Use « Love & Anxiety Tour »

Skip The Use arrives in Saint-Étienne on January 29, 2027 for the Love & Anxiety Tour, at Le Fil. Formed in 2007 around Matt Bastard, the band brings together Yann Stefani, Jay Gimenez, Lio Rapsaert and Manamax Catteloin. A first self-produced album was released in 2009 and paved the way for a string of sustained tours. In 2012, Can Be Late was issued on Polydor and won the Victoire de la Musique for Rock Album of the Year in 2013. Since then, the group has continued to play everywhere, refining a blend of rock, punk and electronics conceived for the stage.

With the Love & Anxiety Tour, Skip The Use assembles a set that draws from their beginnings as well as more recent material. Sharp guitars, tight rhythms, tense synths and direct vocals set the pace, alternating shouted choruses with more nervous, edgy passages. The band moves forward without detour, strings songs together and relies on collective impact, true to their live DNA. A show that puts its repertoire back at the center, in a direct, compact form — to be experienced at Le Fil, Saint-Étienne, on January 29, 2027.
