Headache, the collaborative project of writer and poet Francis Hornsby Clark and producer Joseph Thornalley, aka Vegyn, lands in Toronto on November 8, 2026 at Mooi. On stage, the duo fuses slow-blooming trip-hop and downtempo electronica with an AI-voiced spoken word, letting Clark’s narratives cut through while Vegyn sculpts the edges with misty synths, clipped drums and understated basslines. They’ll lean into their second album, Thank You For Almost Everything, while revisiting The Head Hurts But The Heart Knows The Truth. Themes drift from school cafeterias to Roman seasons, from seaside arguments to half-remembered puzzles, sketching those small scenes that stick in the mind.
