On October 15, 2026 at Project House in Leeds, Panchiko bring their blurred-edge indie to the stage: guitars washed in reverb, lo-fi textures and soft synths under Owain Llewelyn’s mellow vocals. Formed in Nottingham in the late ’90s by Owain, Andy Wright and John Still, the band cut a handful of CD-Rs, including the EP D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L (2000) and Kicking Cars (2001), a mix of dream pop, shoegaze lean and DIY electronics that went under the radar for years.
Rediscovered online after a fan unearthed a worn copy and shared it, Panchiko were pulled back into the present, reissuing their early material and returning to the road. Their sets now thread cult EP tracks with new songs from Failed at Math(s) (2023), keeping the haze but tightening the punch. The live show leans on intimate, unvarnished sonics built for close rooms and big swells, tracing a line between their early 2000s beginnings and a steady second act.
