Dork’s Day Out lands at Colours Hoxton, London on 1 August 2026 with Hatchie up front. Under that moniker, Brisbane’s Harriette Pilbeam blends dream pop, shoegaze and indie pop, pairing gauzy guitars with clean melodies and a vocal that stays soft yet direct. Early singles Try and Sure set the tone, followed by the Sugar & Spice EP, then the albums Keepsake, Giving the World Away and Liquorice, where she broadened the palette with brighter arrangements and firmer rhythms without dropping the shoegaze grain. A Robin Guthrie remix of Sure and collaborations with The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, George Clanton, Wild Nothing and GUM sketched her path beyond Australia. Live, Hatchie draws on that run of tracks, balancing haze and hooks, intimate verses and sharp refrains.
