Anthony Green

Anthony Green brings his distinctive voice to The Bodega Nottingham on 9 July 2026. First known as the early singer of Saosin, then as co-founder and frontman of Circa Survive, he moves along the edges of post-hardcore, indie rock and experimental projects like The Sound of Animals Fighting and L.S. Dunes. His solo path since Avalon (2008) explores a more stripped, melodic side continued with Beautiful Things, Young Legs, Pixie Queen, Would You Still Be In Love and Boom. Done. On stage, he shifts between quiet, acoustic textures and more charged passages, with lyrics that tap into intimacy, recovery and a search for meaning.

He often reshapes catalog cuts live, changing keys, stretching melodies and letting his high register sit just above the chords. Between songs, the tone stays close and unvarnished, with stories sliding into choruses and older tracks taking on new contours. Drawing across Circa Survive eras, side-project snapshots and recent solo work, the set traces a line between confession and release, held together by a falsetto that hovers and cuts through the room.
