Dutch deep house duo Dam Swindle land in Hackney for a session rooted in house and its offshoots, on 12 June 2026 at Night Tales, London. Formerly known as Detroit Swindle and founders of Heist Recordings, Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets shape their sets from a crate‑digger’s palette: dusty disco, soulful grooves, Chicago bump and raw machine funk, all threaded with swing and melody. Avid vinyl heads, they move fluidly from warm, jazz‑tinged deep cuts to tougher basement rollers, stitched with extended blends, subtle edits and percussive builds.

On the dancefloor they favor loose, human grooves over gimmicks: shuffling drums, rubbery basslines, Rhodes chords, vocal snatches and the occasional Detroit‑styled synth line.
