Houston-born Dorian Electra pushes at the edges of pop, blending experimental pop, electro-pop, hyperpop and visual performance. First noticed through online singles and videos, Electra builds a world where satire, pop codes, historical references and internet aesthetics collide in tightly crafted forms. Flamboyant (2019) set the template with dense electronics, big refrains and flashes of glam, baroque and metal; My Agenda (2020) amped up the abrasive side and approached identity, masculinity and digital culture more directly. Fanfare (2023) took a more theatrical turn while keeping that mix of registers and textures. Along the way, Electra has worked with alt-pop and electronic figures such as Charli XCX, 100 gecs and Pussy Riot.
On 30 May 2026 at YES, Manchester, Dorian Electra brings a live set where hooks and heavy synths meet club momentum and performance-art touches. Shapeshifting vocals, hard-edged beats and quick costume play frame tracks from across the catalogue, with space for new material. Special guests join the night.
