Since their inception in 2009, Submotion Orchestra have moved between deep electronica, jazz, soul and ambient downtempo, performing from Iceland to India across their six albums, several EPs and tours. Their music is at once delicate and heavy, spacious and dense, atmospheric and grounded. Bass and drums combine with keyboard and trumpet textures to create a backdrop for Ruby Wood's vocals.
From their earliest post-dubstep album Finest Hour, which includes All Yours, to the live electronica of their latest album Passed Me By, Submotion Orchestra continue to explore electronic, jazz, ambient and soul after 16 years of music making.
