Pete & Bas

Pete & Bas land at Indigo at The O2, London, on 9 October 2026. Since 2017, the London duo of Peter Bowditch and Basil Bellgrave have shaped a straight-talking strain of UK rap that leans into drill and grime codes without the gloss, pairing dry, streetwise storytelling with dark, minimal beats. They first broke out with Shut Ya Mouth, then pushed on with Dents in a Peugeot and The Old Estate with M24, before doubling down on their South East London lens with Bermondsey. Along the way they linked with Fumez the Engineer for a Plugged In session and traded bars with Norman Pain and Patrick Karneigh Jr., keeping their delivery clipped, playful and built for cold instrumentals.

On stage, the focus stays on bars, bass and timing, with the back-and-forth that runs through their Quick Little Mixtape (2021) and Mugshot (2024). The set draws on new material and early standouts, anchored in the no-frills, deadpan energy that has marked Pete & Bas in the contemporary UK rap landscape.
