Info
Bleech 9:3 brings its Irish alt-rock to Rescue Rooms, Nottingham, on 30 November 2026. Born between Dublin and London’s Brixton, the four-piece formed around songwriters Barry Quinlan and Sam Duffy, joined by James Quinlan on bass and Luke O’Neill on drums. Their writing draws clear, melodic lines and sets them against dense, saturated guitars, playing on the pull between restraint and release. A visual, introspective streak runs through the project, feeding both lyrics and onstage presence.
Early tracks such as Ceiling and Jacky mapped out the band’s terrain and carried them across the London circuit, with supports for Shame and Keo and a three-night residency at the Blue Basement. On stage, Bleech 9:3 tightens everything to the essentials: a direct, tense and melodic rock grammar, sharpened by a close-knit rhythm section and the friction between noise and clarity. Nottingham gets that version of the group, honed by gigs and built around contrasts that give the songs their bite.
