Aynsley Lister brings his blues-rock back to The Flowerpot in Derby on 4 December 2026. Active since the late 90s, the Leicester-born guitarist and songwriter leads a tight band with a sound that moves between blues, soul, Americana and rock, sometimes slipping in a pop sensibility. His guitar work is clean and expressive, his writing direct.
On stage, Lister draws from a broad back catalogue as well as newer material from albums like Eyes Wide Open and Along for the Ride. The set balances song craft and improvisation, with close-knit interplay and room for the guitar to speak. If Gary Clark Jr., Eric Clapton, The Black Keys, John Mayer or Tedeschi Trucks are on your radar, this show should fit.
