Info
On 23 September 2026, Pale Waves will take over Les Étoiles in Paris. Formed in Manchester around Heather Baron-Gracie (vocals, guitar) and Ciara Doran (drums), with Hugo Silvani (guitar) and Charlie Wood (bass), the quartet has been refining since 2018 a sound at the crossroads of indie-pop, '80s-inspired synth-pop and a rawer pop-punk energy. From My Mind Makes Noises to Smitten, released in 2024, and including singles like Who Am I? and Unwanted, the band blends narratives of identity and relationships with bright guitars and straightforward melodies.
On stage, Pale Waves play tightly and with a no-nonsense approach, alternating electric melancholy and more nervous surges. Expect a set that draws from across their discography, from early singles to tracks from Smitten, combining catchy choruses and shimmering guitars. Honed by hundreds of shows and appearances at Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds and Lollapalooza, the band returns to defend their guitar-pop vision in the intimacy of Les Étoiles, carrying the melodic tension that links romance, doubt and a combative urge.
