Yaelokre

On 25 October 2026 at L'Alhambra (10th arrondissement of Paris), Yaelokre will present a universe positioned between acoustic folk, OPM (Original Pilipino Music) and folk-pop. Led by Keath Ósk, whose roots are Icelandic and Filipino, the project is conceived as a modern tale titled Meadowlark, where songs, illustrations and staging respond to one another. On stage, costumes and masks give form to the characters of this homegrown mythology, while the voice and light arrangements carry the narrative.

The concert traverses Yaelokre's early chapters: the EP Hayfields (2024) and its track “Harpy Hare,” followed by Songs of Origin (2024) and Origins (2025), unfurling restrained melodies, bright, clean guitars and delicate textures. Between intimate ballads and more pop-leaning choruses, the storytelling remains central, with transitions that link each piece to Meadowlark’s overarching story. Depending on the date, Yaelokre appears solo or accompanied by a band, in a pared-down staging that leaves room for detail, for pauses, and for a natural closeness with the audience.
