NO CIGAR return to Bristol with their new album Under the Surface, bringing their New Zealand indie rock with psych shades to Thekla on 27 November 2026. Formed in 2019, the band has shaped a sound built on melodic guitars, mid‑tempo grooves and uncluttered, narrative songwriting. An early marker came with Tickets To Space in 2019, followed by the EP Radical Road in 2020 and a first album, Bienvenido, in 2022. On stage, they extend the warmth of their arrangements and a steady, dance‑leaning pulse refined across the NZ live circuit and festivals like Rhythm and Vines and That Weekend.

The set will lean on new material from Under the Surface, balanced with songs from Bienvenido. Expect hook‑driven riffs, psych‑tinted layers and rhythms that roll rather than rush, with lyrics that orbit relationships, travel and snapshots of city life.
