The Sinclairs are all about imagination getting the better of a sensible plan.
The Sinclairs is a collaboration between two old friends, Rat Scabies (The Damned) and Billy Shinbone (Flipron, Neville Staple), swapping files and talking for hours on the phone every night, then calling on other old friends and making records.
In 2019, what started out as a small side project playing surf-rock instrumentals quickly morphed into a world of psychedelic, gurgling electronic soundtracks for their 2020 debut album "Sparkle".
Sophomore album "The Long Slow Death Of A Cigarette" found them breaking out even further, adding guest vocalists to a mix of skittery garage rock, arctic ambience, fuzzy orchestral pop and the odd dusty torch song.
There is a new single on their label Spinout Nuggets. The Sinclairs will launch this new double A-side at The Lexington on Friday 31 July 2026 at 6:30 pm. There will be guests and support from The Masonics.
