On 9 June 2026, Starbenders bring their glam‑leaning rock to The Fleece in Bristol. Formed in Atlanta, the quartet centers on singer-guitarist Kimi Shelter, whose melodic hooks and raw edge steer songs that blend 70s glam, hard rock and power pop. She’s joined by bassist Aaron Lecesne, guitarist Kriss Tokaji and drummer Qi Wei, a line-up that favours direct choruses, crisp guitars and a tight rhythmic backbone.
After early EPs and Heavy Petting, the band signed to Sumerian Records for Love Potions (2020) and followed with Take Back the Night (2023). A steady run of singles and international tours, including dates with Alice In Chains and Palaye Royale, have honed a live set that moves fast and hits clean. At The Fleece, expect punchy melodies, bright riffs and a stage presence shaped by constant touring, with new material likely to slip into the mix.
