China Crisis - Warped 2026

China Crisis bring Warped 2026 to The Globe in Cardiff on 27 November 2026. Built around Gary Daly (vocals, keyboards) and Eddie Lundon (guitar, vocals), the Liverpool outfit shaped a distinctly British blend of new wave and synth-pop: supple basslines, melodic keys and clear, chiming guitars carrying songs with a reflective edge. On stage, the duo expands to a live set-up that lets their arrangements breathe, moving with ease from early, lean electronics to the more polished, sophisti-pop textures that followed.

The set looks across their catalogue, from first steps like African and White and the Working with Fire and Steel period, through the Walter Becker-co-produced Flaunt the Imperfection era, to later chapters such as Warped by Success and Autumn in the Neighbourhood. China Crisis keep the focus on songcraft and atmosphere rather than nostalgia, trading in subtle hooks and detailed grooves that sit close to the originals while opening up in concert.
