Jungle

Jungle bring their modern soul to OVO Hydro in Glasgow on 28 November 2026. Built around childhood friends Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland, the London collective first took shape in the early 2010s as a studio project before expanding into a fuller live outfit. Their sound blends soul with funk, disco and a light psychedelic tint, anchored by supple basslines, tight rhythms and falsetto vocals layered in harmonies.

Introduced by a run of singles in 2013, Jungle released their self-titled debut in 2014, followed by For Ever in 2018, Loving in Stereo in 2021 and Volcano in 2023. Across these records, the writing turns more direct and melodic while keeping circular grooves, stacked choirs and a strong sense of interplay between voices and beats. The group’s music is closely tied to a visual world shaped by choreography and clean, cinematic imagery, an approach that carries into their stagecraft.

In concert, Jungle translate their studio precision into a collective energy: live arrangements push the production forward while keeping space for those hooks and rhythms that pull the crowd in. A set built for dancing, with detail in the layers and a feel rooted in contemporary soul and British funk.
