Gavin DeGraw

Gavin DeGraw plays O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on 6 October 2026. Raised in South Fallsburg, New York, he forged a piano-led mix of pop rock and soul, brushed with folk, soft rock and later a hint of country. First noticed on the New York club circuit, he set his template with Chariot in 2003: direct melodies, a slightly husky voice, a clean, unfussy production. I Don’t Want to Be, later chosen as the One Tree Hill theme, brought his songwriting to a wider audience.

He followed with Gavin DeGraw (2008), Free (2009) and Sweeter (2011), edging toward more radio-ready hooks without losing the soul backbone. Make a Move arrived in 2013, the same year as We Both Know with Colbie Caillat, nominated at the Grammys. With Something Worth Saving (2016) and Face the River (2022), he steered back to a stripped, voice-and-piano focus with American shades.

On stage, DeGraw revisits this path with a set built on groove, piano figures and clear storytelling, moving from early hits to the more intimate tone of his recent records.
