Del Amitri bring Past to Present to the Roundhouse, London, on 22 November 2026, tracing four decades of songwriting from their Glasgow beginnings to today. Formed in 1980 around singer-bassist Justin Currie and long-time guitarist Iain Harvie, the band shaped a sound of chiming guitars, direct melodies and lyrics with a dry, melancholic edge. The show surveys albums that set their course — Waking Hours (1989), Change Everything (1992), Twisted (1995), Some Other Sucker’s Parade (1997) — moves through Can You Do Me Good? (2002), and reconnects with the studio years later on Fatal Mistakes (2021).
Across the night, the catalogue comes into focus: Nothing Ever Happens, Kiss This Thing Goodbye, Always the Last to Know and Roll to Me sit alongside deeper cuts and newer material. With Currie, Harvie, Andy Alston, Ash Soan and Kris Dollimore on stage, Del Amitri weave pop rock, alternative rock, jangle pop and folk-tinged rock into a line from past to present.
