Seafret « 10 Year Anniversary of 'Tell Me It's Real' »

Seafret mark ten years of their debut album Tell Me It’s Real with an anniversary show at Manchester Academy on 22 May 2026. Formed on the North East coast in Bridlington, the duo of singer Jack Sedman and guitarist Harry Draper has shaped a sound built on close-up vocals, melodic guitar lines and stripped-back arrangements. Early singles and the EPs Give Me Something and Oceans set the course, with Oceans anchoring the mood that runs through their first LP: intimate ballads and clear, story-led writing. Tell Me It’s Real arrived in 2016 and became the heart of their live set, carried by Jack’s grain and Harry’s fingerpicking.

A decade on, the pair revisit that album on stage and fold in what came next with Most of Us Are Strangers (2020) and Wonderland (2023). The night leans on the voice-and-guitar dialogue, subtle builds and quiet tension that define Seafret’s shows, tracing a line from their beginnings to the present, in Manchester for a focused return to the source.
