Info
Marillion bring their progressive rock to Brighton Dome, Brighton on 13 September 2026 with a set that traces the band’s path from the early 80s to today. Formed in the late 70s in Aylesbury, they first broke through with Fish and albums like Script for a Jester’s Tear, Fugazi and Misplaced Childhood, where theatrical storytelling met long-form writing. Since Steve Hogarth took over on vocals, the line-up of Steve Rothery, Mark Kelly, Pete Trewavas and Ian Mosley has steered the music toward more intimate, atmospheric terrain on Seasons End, Brave, Marbles, F E A R and An Hour Before It’s Dark. The pieces unfold in cycles, balancing melody, textures and dynamics, with room for extended instrumentals. Early on, the band also explored fan-funded projects, a direct link with their audience that still shapes how they tour.
Haunt the Woods join the bill to open the night. The UK outfit adds a complementary energy and sets the tone before Marillion take over at Brighton Dome.
