Info

Tame Impala plays OVO Hydro in Glasgow, United Kingdom, on 11 May 2026. Led by Kevin Parker with Dom Simper and Jay Watson, the Australian project has been shaping a singular strain of psychedelic rock since 2008. Parker and Simper started making music together back in school, later joined by Watson, before releasing a first self-titled EP on Modular and opening for MGMT. Innerspeaker (2010) laid the foundations with phased guitars and looping melodies; Lonerism opened the sound and brought it to a wider audience.

On stage, studio-built tracks become a live organism. Guitars and synths coil around steady basslines, drums push the pulse, and Parker’s voice rides the mix with that slightly hazy, melodic edge. The set draws a line from the fuzz and reverb of the early days to sleeker, more rhythm-forward songs, moving between heady psych passages and concise pop turns without losing the thread.

In Glasgow, it’s about the songs and the space they create together: grooves that build, hooks that linger, and dynamics that keep the room in motion. From the first EP to the present, Tame Impala bring a catalogue designed for repetition and release, delivered as a tight, immersive live experience.
