Info
On 5 June 2026, Kraftwerk bring their multimedia set-up to the Royal Albert Hall in London. Formed in Düsseldorf in 1970 by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider, the group started in the krautrock and experimental scene before pivoting to a clean, melodic and repetitive electronic language with Autobahn. Mechanical rhythms, processed voices and themes of technology, transport and modern life became their signature across Radio-Activity, Trans-Europe Express, The Man-Machine, Computer World and Electric Café, defining the minimal “robot pop” they continue to explore on stage.
Led today by Ralf Hütter, Kraftwerk’s live show focuses on image-led staging, tight visual synchronisation and a careful reworking of their catalogue. The set draws lines between early experiments and later productions like The Mix and Tour de France Soundtracks, giving classic sequences new contours without losing their pulse and precision. Expect the group’s streamlined electronics, vocoder mantras and motorik grooves to unfold with their usual clarity, a concert that traces decades of electronic invention while keeping the performance firmly rooted in the present tense.
