Philadelphia duo Joey Valence & Brae bring their punchy, throwback energy to O2 Academy Liverpool on 9 May 2026. Born out of a campus encounter in Pennsylvania, they built their name with self-produced tracks that splice 90s rap DNA with a taste for pop culture nods and straight-to-the-point rhythms. The breakout came in 2021 with Punk Tactics, a viral single that opened the gates to a fast-growing community and a run of releases sharpening their identity. The Underground Sound in 2022 sketched the contours of their universe, followed in 2023 by the Punk Tactics album, which gathered their key cuts and cemented a sound that plays with old-school hip-hop codes, alternative rap impulses and a proudly nerdy sensibility. True to a DIY ethic, they handle beats, visuals and stagecraft together, feeding a tight onstage chemistry.
