Info

The Shires bring their British take on country-pop to Royal Liverpool Philharmonic in Liverpool on 18 November 2026. Formed by Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes, the duo shape Nashville-inspired songwriting with a distinctly English edge, jousting between Crissie’s lead and Ben’s close harmonies. On stage, they revisit the stories and melodies that have built their path since 2013, moving from intimate, voice-led ballads to punchier pop-country cuts.

Expect a set that puIIs from Brave, My Universe, Accidentally on Purpose, Good Years and 10 Year Plan, with songs about everyday life, relationships and the small turns that make good hooks. Their live dynamic rests on the conversation between two voices and a steady sense of songcraft: clear choruses, clean guitar lines, and the kind of storytelling that nods to Nashville without losing its home soil. After years spent crossing UK halls and opening for names from Little Big Town to Shania Twain and Carrie Underwood, The Shires return with a show that keeps their focus where it started: tight harmonies, straightforward writing and a feel for the crowd.
