Info
On 3 July 2026, Bowling for Soup and Frank Turner share the stage at Llangollen Pavilion in Llangollen.
Bowling for Soup, formed in Texas in 1994, push a pop punk blend where punk rock bite meets power pop hooks. Led by Jaret Reddick, the band leans on sharp, storytelling lyrics about prolonged adolescence, suburbia and pop culture, set to quick tempos and sticky choruses. From early 2000s breakthroughs to Pop Drunk Snot Bread, their catalogue fuels sing-alongs and a live energy shaped by humor and self-mockery, the kind that turns a crowd into a chorus.
Frank Turner, rooted in the UK punk scene, switched to an acoustic-driven approach without losing urgency. Since Sleep Is for the Week through FTHC and Undefeated, he’s traced a line between folk rock and melodic punk, with direct, personal writing and hooks that cut straight to the point. Often playing with The Sleeping Souls, his shows favor straight-ahead rhythms and unvarnished vocals that carry a room, from hushed verses to fist-up refrains.
