Ray LaMontagne brings the Trouble 20th Anniversary Tour to O2 Apollo, Manchester, on 27 May 2026. Twenty years after his breakout debut, the New Hampshire–born singer-songwriter returns to the songs that set his course: spare, acoustic-led folk rock, a rough-edged voice up front, and writing that lingers on relationships, doubt and the interior weather of everyday life.

LaMontagne first made his mark in 2004 with Trouble, then widened his palette on Till the Sun Turns Black and Gossip in the Grain without losing that intimate center. With The Pariah Dogs he leaned into roots textures, later veering toward psych-tinged colours on Supernova and the atmospheric sway of Ouroboros, before circling back to a stripped-down feel on Part of the Light and Monovision.

On stage, he moves easily between solo hush and full-band weight. For this anniversary run, expect a set built around Trouble’s narratives, revisited with two decades of perspective, and threaded with highlights from across his catalogue. A night shaped by songcraft, space, and the grain of a singular voice.
