Kraftwerk bring their Multimedia Tour 2026 to O2 Apollo, Manchester, on 23 May 2026. Pioneers of electronic music, the Düsseldorf group moved from early krautrock experiments to a clear, melodic and mechanical approach from Autobahn onward, with processed voices and themes shaped by technology, transport and modern life. Albums like Radio-Activity, Trans-Europe Express, The Man-Machine and Computer World fixed the minimal synth pop language and the robot pop aesthetic that still runs through their work.

On stage today, Ralf Hütter leads Kraftwerk with a show built around image, tight visual synchronization and new readings of their catalogue. Expect crisp sequences, vocoder lines and rhythmic grids that bring classic tracks into the present without losing their understated tension. From motorway drift to data streams and cycling pulses, the set gathers decades of ideas into a focused live format, part concert and part audio-visual installation, centered on the link between human and machine.
