The Pretty Reckless

The Pretty Reckless bring their dark-tinged hard rock to The Prospect Building in Bristol on 26 November 2026. Formed in New York in the late 2000s around singer and guitarist Taylor Momsen, the band shapes a sound that threads post-grunge bite through classic rock grit. With Ben Phillips on guitar, Mark Damon on bass and Jamie Perkins on drums, the quartet moves from riff-led anthems to bluesier detours without losing the pull of their choruses.

On stage, they lean into contrasts: dense guitars against clear melodies, stomping grooves next to slower, brooding passages. The set should span their key records, from Light Me Up and Going to Hell to Who You Selling For and Death by Rock and Roll, where rough-edged vocals and immediate hooks carry themes of disillusion, faith, desire, and, more recently, grief and survival.
