Crash Test Dummies bring their distinctive, baritone-led alt-folk rock to Epic Studios, Norwich, on 12 October 2026. Formed in Winnipeg, the band forged its identity around Brad Roberts’ deep voice and Ellen Reid’s harmonies, blending acoustic storytelling with a bent for wry, everyday-metaphysical lyrics. From the early acoustic tones of The Ghosts That Haunt Me to the melodic focus of God Shuffled His Feet and later, more electric turns, their catalogue traces a clear line of evolution on record and on stage.

Since reuniting in 2018 to mark the anniversary of God Shuffled His Feet, the group has kept the road alive across North America, Europe and Australia. In Norwich, the core lineup—Brad Roberts, Ellen Reid, Dan Roberts and Mitch Dorge—returns, joined by longtime guitarist Stuart Cameron and keyboardist Leith Fleming-Smith. The set dips into 90s staples like Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm and Superman’s Song, nods to their take on The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead, and folds in deep cuts that spotlight the band’s close-knit vocals, steady pulse and unvarnished folk-rock grain.
