The Royston Club

The Royston Club land at O2 Victoria Warehouse on 9 May 2026 with a set shaped by sharp hooks, wiry guitars and lyrics that go straight to the point. Formed in Wrexham by long-time friends Ben Matthias, Tom Faithfull, Dave Tute and Sam Jones, the quartet first built a buzz with self-released demos before breaking through with Coasting in 2021, a vinyl hit that put their melodic bite on the map. Their debut album, Shaking Hips and Crashing Cars, reached the UK Top 20 and pushed them onto major stages from sold-out clubs to Glastonbury and Rock en Seine.

Live, the band favours tight rhythms and quick-turn riffs, balancing immediacy with a clear sense of direction. Expect a set that threads early singles with highlights from the debut and new tracks from their second album, Songs for the Spine. The newer songs add weight and focus without losing the urgency that drove their rise. Four players, no frills, an indie rock show built on momentum and the chemistry of a band that grew up together.
