White Denim

White Denim bring their restless, genre-blending rock to Limelight, Belfast, on 27 August 2026. Formed in Austin in 2006, the band first emerged as a power trio led by singer-guitarist James Petralli with Steve Terebecki on bass and Josh Block on drums. Lineups have shifted since, with Petralli as the constant center, steering the group’s DIY ethos and studio work at Radio Milk. On stage, White Denim navigates sharp turns and tight grooves, stretching songs with improvisations where garage rock clicks with psych, soul, jazz-fusion and a dash of prog.

Their catalogue maps that evolution: from early EPs to Workout Holiday and Exposion (2008), Fits (2009), then the more expansive D (2011). Corsicana Lemonade (2013) leaned into classic rock textures without dropping the exploratory thread, followed by Stiff (2016), Performance (2018) and Side Effects (2019). More recent chapters include World as a Waiting Room (2020), a collaboration with Raze Regal in 2023, and 12 in 2024. In Belfast, the set tends to roam across these eras, with songs reworked in real time and a focus on interplay over fixed arrangements.
