Sierra Ferrell presents « The Heavy Petal Tour »

Sierra Ferrell brings the Heavy Petal Tour to O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on 7 July 2026. Raised in Charleston, West Virginia, she grew up on country, bluegrass and old-time, then spent years traveling and busking before settling in Nashville. That road-worn path shows up on stage: songs built on acoustic guitar, fiddle and upright bass, waltzes that sway, quick-picking tunes that snap, and vocal harmonies worked with care.

After a run of self-released tracks, she joined Rounder Records for Long Time Coming in 2021, refining layered vocals and string arrangements without losing the raw edge of her live sets. In 2024, Trail of Flowers pushed further into an Americana blend where folk ballads meet brisk two-steps and hints of swing or jazz phrasing. The Heavy Petal set draws from across that songbook, moving between storytelling ballads and foot-tapping numbers, and leaving room for detours, covers or old-time standards. Ferrell’s writing keeps a close eye on character and detail, while her band leans into acoustic textures that feel immediate and unadorned.
