The Lemon Twigs

The Lemon Twigs bring their pop-rock craft to Rescue Rooms, Nottingham on 18 May 2026. Formed on Long Island by brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario, the band stitches together 60s/70s-minded melodies, orchestral pop flourishes and power-pop turns, grounded by tight sibling harmonies and quick gear shifts. Raised in a musical family and seasoned early on stage and on sets, they built a catalogue that moves from the baroque twists of Do Hollywood and the rawer Brothers of Destruction EP, through the narrative sweep of Go to School, to the more direct songwriting of Songs for the General Public. Their recent phase with Everything Harmony (2023) and A Dream Is All We Know (2024) leans into tender ballads and layered vocal arrangements without losing the bite.

On stage, the D’Addarios play it as a small troupe, trading guitar, bass, drums and keys with an expanded lineup to keep the songs agile. The set draws across eras, folding jangly pop, glam-tinged riffs and hushed harmonies into a fluid show built on melody, arrangements and the snap of dynamic changes.
