Info
Wet Wet Wet mark 40 years of their debut Popped In Souled Out on 20 October 2027 at Music Hall in Aberdeen. From their Clydebank roots to chart success, the band revisit the record that set their path, mixing blue‑eyed soul, pop hooks and tender ballads. The set leans into the early singles and the rich arrangements that shaped their signature sound, with room for cuts from later albums like Holding Back the River and Picture This. Strong melodies, grounded grooves and polished harmonies carry songs that have lived on well beyond the 80s.
Support comes from Roachford. Andrew Roachford’s project blends rock drive, soul phrasing and R&B colours around his voice and keyboards. On stage he switches from tight, rhythmic pieces to slow‑burners with ease, panning through a catalogue that runs from his late‑80s breakthrough to recent releases like Twice in a Lifetime and Then and Now. A soulful warm‑up that dovetails neatly with Wet Wet Wet’s pop‑soul DNA.
