Steel Panther brings the Europe Twenty Twenty S£X Tour to O2 Academy Birmingham on 22 July 2026. Born on the Los Angeles club circuit, the band — frontman Michael Starr and guitarist Satchel at the core, now joined by Spyder on bass — twists the 80s glam metal playbook with tongue-in-cheek lyrics and tight musicianship: big choruses, stacked harmonies and agile solos. On stage, hair metal theatrics meet precise playing and a taste for parody that’s become their signature.
The set moves from early anthems to recent material from On the Prowl, with singalongs, call-and-response and deadpan banter. Staples like Death to All But Metal, Eyes of a Panther or Community Property often sit alongside new tracks, driven by bright guitars and pounding drums. It’s a show steeped in Sunset Strip codes, refreshed for today through sharp hooks, loud riffs and a sense of mischief that keeps the crowd in on the joke.
