Nortec: Bostich + Fussible (Full Band)

Nortec: Bostich + Fussible bring Tijuana’s border-town pulse to Jazz Café in London on 21 June 2026. As pioneers of the nortec fusion, the duo meld techno structures with norteño colors, weaving accordion motifs, tuba lines and brass stabs into lean, propulsive electronics.

In a full-band format, their studio textures broaden on stage: drums and percussion thicken the low end, brass answers the synth motifs, and the accordion slips into loops that oscillate between cumbia inflections and a straight four-on-the-floor pulse.

The set unfolds like a club night guided by musicians, alternating meticulously timed sequences with looser passages where the ensemble tightens and releases the groove without losing its thread. On the bill are signature tracks revisited and new material reworked for the stage, with breathing spaces that highlight the dialogue between machines and acoustic timbres.
