Asaf Avidan

Asaf Avidan returns to the stage with a full band and a show of theatrical scale. On July 29, 2026 at the Théâtre Jean Deschamps in Carcassonne, he moves through folk, blues, rock, pop and jazz, with occasional incursions into rap. Carried by his distinctive voice and songs crafted for live performance, he draws on his entire repertoire, from the early tracks that brought him to prominence to unreleased pieces that herald two forthcoming albums. Gone are the intimate formats: this tour embraces the collective, organic arrangements and the textured sound of the instruments.

True to his artisanal approach, Avidan rejects computers, autotune and pre-recorded backing tracks. Every piece is played live, without a safety net. You hear the grit of folk, the drive of a taut rock, blues lines and jazz colors, all serving a narrative in motion. A concert conceived for the present, where stage energy and songwriting answer one another unfiltered.
