Lisa Stansfield

Lisa Stansfield stops in Monaco on 11 August 2026, at the Salle des Étoiles of the Sporting. Born in Manchester, she shaped a soul sound with R&B, pop and dance inflections from the 1980s onward, carried by a recognisable deep voice. After her beginnings with the trio Blue Zone, her solo trajectory was defined by "People Hold On", recorded with Coldcut, followed by the album Affection and the song "All Around the World". She then released Real Love and So Natural, where ballads, funk grooves and precise pop production meet, before a more club-oriented turn on Lisa Stansfield, then Face Up and The Moment. Returning to the studio with Seven and Deeper, she brings to the stage a repertoire that spans decades, combining classics and more recent tracks. One hears the imprint of her collaborations, from Barry White to George Michael, and her constant taste for arrangements steeped in classic soul. A concert centred on the voice, the melodies and a direct groove, in the elegant surroundings of the Salle des Étoiles at the Sporting de Monaco.
