La Yegros

La Yegros, the voice of Argentine nu-cumbia, arrives in Rome on 30 October 2026 at Largo Venue with Electric Trío, a new format that focuses the sound on the Latin American electronic side. Born in Buenos Aires and raised between the capital and the province of Misiones, Mariana Yegros has built a repertoire that weaves cumbia, chamamé and carnavalito with pop and hip hop, pushing these styles toward global club culture.

With Electric Trío she revisits the tracks from her albums Viene de mí (2013), Magnetismo (2016) and Suelta (2019) in a compact three-piece set, where synthetic basses, samples and Latin percussion support a prominent, incisive lead vocal. The format strips back the arrangements to put rhythm and pulse at the center, while maintaining the connection to the folklore of Argentina’s litoral.

Touring for more than ten years across Europe and Latin America, La Yegros brings to the stage a direct synthesis of tradition and club. In Rome she presents precisely this balance: immediate melodies, taut grooves and a stage approach that invites audience participation, designed for club and festival spaces but equally at ease in concert halls.
