Kneecap - Locus Festival 2026

Kneecap arrive in Bari on 18 June 2026, at the Fiera del Levante, for the opening date of the Locus Festival 2026. The Belfast trio – Mo Chara, Moglaí Bap and producer DJ Próvaí – make their Italian debut with Fenian, the new album that consolidates their blend of bilingual Gaelic/English rap, dark humour and street narratives.

On stage their energy is direct: rough beats, soundsystem bass, sing‑along choruses and shifts in pace that keep the set constantly moving. The Gaelic verses weave seamlessly with English, while the lyrics range from self‑deprecating humour to political and social themes tied to Belfast and its surrounding areas. Their attitude remains that of artists who come from the local scene and push it further, mixing controlled provocation, satire and writing that doesn’t shy away from everyday life.

In Bari, Kneecap present a setlist that looks back to their beginnings as well as to new material, made up of fast tracks and more spoken moments, designed to make listeners feel the weight of the words as much as the beats.
