Amistat

Amistat, the twin-brother duo Josef and Jan Prasil, cultivate an acoustic folk sound with indie-pop overtones, carried by two voices that interlock naturally. Born in Germany and having spent time in Italy, with Czech and Australian ties, they shaped their sound on the roads of Australia before relocating to Europe in 2019. Active since 2012 with several EPs to their name, they have honed a direct songwriting approach and spare arrangements in which guitars and harmonies hold the line.

On stage, Amistat emphasizes intimacy: vocals up front, stripped-back guitar, and songs that speak of movement, connections and travel experiences. After a joint tour with Sons of the East in 2019 and more than 150 dates in 2022 across Europe, the UK and Australia, the duo continues its journey between stages and continents.

On 10 November 2026 at L’Alhambra in Paris, they will present a set refocused on the essentials: tight harmonies, melodies that travel, and the chemistry of two brothers who have been singing together since their beginnings.
