On 7 February 2027 Five Finger Death Punch will land at AFAS Live in Amsterdam as part of their 20th Anniversary World Tour. Since 2005 the band centered on guitarist Zoltan Bathory and vocalist Ivan Moody has been crafting a blend of heavy and groove metal with hard rock and alt‑metal influences. Heavy riffs, direct rhythms and hooks that stick form the core, with lyrics about anger, trauma and social friction. The current lineup of Bathory, Moody, Chris Kael, Charlie Engen and Andy James celebrates twenty years of music and delves into a catalogue ranging from The Way of the Fist to AfterLife.
Lamb of God are on the bill. From Richmond, Virginia, they deliver a groove‑metal approach with a thrash edge. Fronted by Randy Blythe, with Mark Morton and Willie Adler on guitars and John Campbell on bass; Art Cruz sits behind the kit. Syncopated riffs, lumbering grooves and abrasive vocals propel songs that are often socially charged, from Ashes of the Wake to Omens.
Also present: Bleed From Within from Glasgow, a cross between metalcore and groove metal with melodic death influences. After the rougher early years, the emphasis shifted to tighter structures and pronounced guitar melodies, audible on Era, Fracture and Shrine. Contrasts between screams and clearer passages keep the tension intact, supported by a compact, driving rhythm section.
