Bush bring their heavy-melodic alt rock to Casino Rama in Orillia, Canada, on July 27, 2026. Formed in London in 1992 around Gavin Rossdale, the band forged a blend of thick guitars, direct hooks and a darker tension that cut through the 90s and beyond. On stage, they thread the early anthems Glycerine, Machinehead and Comedown with more recent material from The Art of Survival and I Beat Loneliness, carried by Rossdale’s grain and the tight interplay of Chris Traynor, Corey Britz and Nik Hughes. Three decades on, their set leans on dynamics rather than gloss, built for a room that wants riffs, melody and release.
Opening the night, Canadian singer and guitarist JJ Wilde sets the tone with a rock grounded in garage grit and electric blues. From the debut album Ruthless and the breakout The Rush to newer tracks like Best Boy and Mercy, she writes in a straight line: guitars up front, melodies that bite, words that don’t overexplain. Her 2024 EP Best Of Me (Part 1) adds a more intimate edge, but live she keeps it immediate, a natural fit with Bush’s drive.
