Info

On 29 August 2026 at Gretchen in Berlin, Bedouine headlines the Berlin Folk Festival’s summer edition, marking the arrival of her new album Neon Summer Skin, out 6 June via Thirty Tigers. Sparked by a family visit to Saudi Arabia, the record opens a new chapter while keeping her understated touch; the lead single Long Way To Fall sets the tone.

Under the name Bedouine, singer-songwriter Azniv Korkejian has shaped a spare, melodic folk since the late 2010s. Born in Aleppo to an Armenian family, raised in Saudi Arabia and later based in the US, she filters a drifting life into close, unadorned songs. A self-titled debut in 2017 with producer Gus Seyffert, Bird Songs of a Killjoy in 2019 and Waysides in 2021 trace a catalog where American folk, hushed pop and introspective writing sit side by side.

On stage she has toured with Fleet Foxes, José González, Michael Kiwanuka and Father John Misty, and played at Newport Folk Festival, Pickathon and WOMAD. In Berlin, expect a focused headline set that folds older favorites into new material from Neon Summer Skin. More acts will be announced, with the bill stretching from psych-rock and folk to soul, indie, pop and experimental sounds.
