Bio:
Wolfgang Flür began his musical career in the late 1960s as a drummer in several Düsseldorf bands, including the Spirits of Sound, which briefly featured guitarist Michael Rother. At the end of 1973 Flür joined Kraftwerk, then composed only of Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider, to play the electronic percussion he devised (drum beat).

Flür left Kraftwerk in 1987 and after a few years founded a project called Yamo, with which he recorded an album titled Time Pie in 1997; in 2000 he published a book, Ich war ein Roboter (in Italian: Io ero un robot; English: I Was a Robot), in which he recounts his time with Kraftwerk. Flür also helped launch Mouse on Mars and Dyko, an electronic duo from Frankfurt.

"Times" is the third studio album by German electronic musician Wolfgang Flür, released on 28 March 2025 by Cherry Red Records. Conceived as a follow-up to Magazine 1 (2022), Flür initially credited a collaboration to Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk), only discovering after the album’s release that he had been deceived by an impostor, a man named Thomas Vangarde. The album includes collaborations with Peter Hook and Juan Atkins.
