Robert Hood

In a city charged by the Mediterranean, we imagine a night in a human-scale venue. No frills, no overcrowded dancefloor — an evening designed for your comfort, where faces become familiar. You don’t need to know everything: all you need is the desire to listen, to learn and to be moved. We invite artist-producers, storytellers and selectors for long, progressive sets that blend emotive lighting, hypnotic textures and percussion. The evening takes place on Friday, June 5, 2026, at La Friche la Belle de Mai (Petit Cab) in Marseille, from 11:30 PM to 4:00 AM.

We welcome Robert Hood, a founding member of the Underground Resistance collective and one of the founding figures of Detroit techno — one of the first to develop a very minimalist approach, reducing music to its essence: rhythm, repetition and intensity.

Opening the night is Rorre Ecco, an artist from Marseille. She is a resident DJ at the Rasputin and Marseille/Chicago nights at Makeda, where she offers eclectic selections mixing electro, house, funk, disco and techno.
