On 17 September 2026 at Whelan's, 25 Wexford Street, Dublin 2, Havok bring a set built on speed, tension and precision. Formed in Denver in 2004 around vocalist-guitarist David Sanchez, the band drives a thrash rooted in the 80s, fed by NWOBHM hooks, hardcore bite, death metal accents and a taste for more progressive structures. On stage, expect sharp riffs, tight downpicking, sudden tempo changes and solos with a classic heavy metal flair, while lyrics target politics, media noise and social pressure.

The current lineup pairs Sanchez with drummer Pete Webber and bassist Nick Schendzielos, a rhythm section that locks the pulse and leaves space for the guitar front line. The set spans Burn, Time Is Up, Unnatural Selection, Conformicide and V, mixing short blasts and longer builds without losing momentum. Havok keep their shows focused and direct, with arrangements that push the energy forward and leave little room for distraction. Dublin gets a concentrated dose.
